IB Economics Resource Links

All in One Place

October 30, 2026

I’m super excited to travel to Portugal on Sunday to work with Nobel Algarve British International School Almancil, a fantastic new school near Faro on the southern coast. I’ll be spending an entire day focused on strengthening Extended Essay Supervision, building greater consistency across the school, and creating clearer systems to support students throughout the process. I can’t wait to get there.

It’s been pretty crazy this week. I’ve received more than twenty emails from teachers around the world asking for links to specific IB Economics resources. Everything from mark schemes to writing structures to vocabulary lists to information on how to draw diagrams.

So…

I thought it would be helpful to put together a clear, organized table that you can bookmark and return to whenever you need something.

You’ll find student Fact Sheets, video explanations, and Mark Schemes for Papers 1, 2, and 3.

Many teachers are approaching their first Internal Assessment of the year as they work through Microeconomics, so I’ve included the Internal Assessment Fact Sheet, Mark Scheme, commentary cover pages, and a teacher comments form for uploading the portfolio.

There are also resources for the bigger picture of IB Economics, including the Nine Key Concepts, the IB Glossary of Economic Terms, and a pretty awesome Quizlet created by one of my students a couple of years ago.

If you’re looking for more support, I’ve also included links to my full IB Economics Courses and On-Demand Teacher Workshops. You’ll find links to the Teacher Membership and School Membership, too. The IB Economics School Membership gives up to 100 students access to more than 450 videos, vocabulary lists, practice questions, and resources covering the full curriculum.

All the links are below.  Bookmark them and come back whenever you need a quick starting point.

October is crazy every single year. Last year, I wrote a newsletter called What’s the Deal with October? which many of you responded to with both hilarity and dismay. I’ve never figured October out.

Happily, it’s almost over, and somehow, it always gets better.

Be good out there, and thank you for all your kindness and support.

See you next week.
