Economics is one of those topics that, to me, seems quite dry from the outside. However, I knew from the free videos that this course would be different. Brad's passion comes through strongly, and he is such an engaging teacher. One of the promises in the very first videos is that you will start to understand more about the news and politics. I found this to be spot on, as only a short while later, I had a series of 'Aha' moments when the penny finally dropped about terminology I had heard before. Highly recommend!

Brad takes what could, on the surface, be an intimidating topic and makes it very accessible. In addition to that, he tackles ethical issues from a truly human (not merely abstract) perspective and also has an engaging style that feels less like being talked at and more like being in a classroom (even if it really is just on a screen). I thoroughly enjoyed this course, and when I go to take more economics courses, Brad Cartwright will be the first name I search.
