You don't have to do it alone.
"I would love to share what I’ve learned from my personal experience, from the mistakes I've made, and from the true belief that together we can be better."
Collegial Partnership
Are you new to teaching Theory of Knowledge this year?
Or maybe you’re looking for someone to meet with on a regular basis to get new ideas to work with your students, or designing specific assessments, or maybe just another perspective on your teaching? If so, I would love to work with you to help expand your craft of teaching.
This one-on-one program can be set up to meet your individual needs and time constraints. The idea is that we partner up around your needs as a teacher of Theory of Knowledge. We would meet one-on-one eight different times throughout the semester via Zoom to collaborate with one another.
To get started, all you need to do is schedule a free meeting initial meeting.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Eight Individual Sessions
Theory of Knowledge Curriculum - Overview and analysis of the TOK curriculum. We can look at your school context of teaching this two-year course: focusing on the structure, progression, and how to build the essential skills required for TOK.
Assessments - We can thoroughly examine the two official IB assessments in TOK: The Exhibition and the Essay. It is important to not only understand the tasks, but also how to effectively prepare our students.
Approaches to Teaching & Learning - We can discuss lesson planning strategies, how to craft exercises, activities and assessments that foster the analytical and evaluative skills.
Sharing - Have a space to share ideas, thoughts, challenges, and successes! You are not alone. Collaboration is an key component of teaching and learning.
